Elayna.................
Elayna is a character - really I don't know how else to say it. She is hilarious and very dramatic. I worry for the future - but for now, that is a funny funny thing in our family. She is fairly adventerous as well - climbing most anything and everything she sees and always going for what she wants!
her cereal is never good enough - or there is always too little. So she just climbs onto the table to start grazing from whosever food she wants! We now buckle her in - amidst great protest, but the rest of our food is safe!
She loves to rough and tumble with the boys and with Daddy and is somehow always in control of activity... check out her facial expressions - I have nothing to say about them... I just laugh!
She is getting closer to talking - so far we have words for; thank you, mommy, daddy, weston/tyler (same word), more, this, done, and diaper.. she loves to share and does a great job playing with the boys and is really starting to be a great independent player which is really nice.
she dances all the time, sings and conducts music at church and in the car. She really is just funny. She loves to give zerberts (raspberries) on her own initiative. She doesn't like whipped cream which we all think is weird. She's not even all that hot on sweets - after the first lick. Daddy is her own personal jungle gym - and usually we hear a lot of grunts then a laugh from Elayna and an 'ouch' from John or a big 'humph'... Elayna laughs more and John just looks beat up by the end of it!
Oh and she loves to twirl.. today she was spinning around until she fell - she'd laugh then stand up and do it again. She was at that for about 5 minutes. Where did she get that??
It still seems like she is always laughing at her own jokes too- - - what a crack up!And this is what happens when she eats yogurt by herself!! which is always! At least it's on her and not the floor.
yes - Daddy still has his eyes!
these two are only seconds apart!
That would be Tyler's breakfast - he was a little upset. But since he wasn't eating it anyway I guess you could say it served him right.
Elayna is teething... she has been fairly slow to get her teeth (and hair) but we do have the last molar coming in - for the first set.. And she's been rather sad and in constant need of something in her mouth. So rather than paper, or her thumb we got her a new binki today with a clip. Daddy was sharing his dinner with Elayna and she wanted a drink.. so she put her binki in John's mouth so he could let her get a drink. When she was done - she took the binki out of John's mouth, wiped if off on her pajamas and put it back in her mouth. ya - you can't teach that one!
