8 Months old
Well, Elayna is 8 months old. She is getting better with her walker, in fact she would rather walk around pushing that little walker than do most anything else. She hasn't learned how to turn the walker herself yet so she will walk in a fairly straight line until she runs into something and then just bang into it with her little head bob until we come help turn her around. If we take too long coming she will walk around the walker into a side position (one hand on handle and one on an ear) and then push the walker to her next destination... or roadblock, whatever you want to call it!
She is constantly observing something or someone and most always very smiley. But she is learning the art of screaming like a little girl... which may be a stereotype - but it's based on fact. Hopefully we'll correct that behavior before too long, and before it becomes an actual character trait.
Elayna is a very good baby... and very patient with her brothers constant and very physical attention. She may still head down the road of princesses and pouffy dresses.. but she'll know how to wrestle and hold her own!
What a blessing she is.
**have patience with all the pictures. I am on a quest to get better pictures of my kids which means I first have to learn how to use my camera and that is creating a surplus of pictures which I have to show someone! I figure if I learn to use my camera, then I can work on composition, cropping, editing and in the end I may have pictures of my kids that I really like! And eventually I may be doing enough to warrent the expense of a nice camera!!
