Tyler's Birthday
Tyler turned 3 while we were on vacation, and because his actual birthday was the day we left for Barcelona (along with John) we celebrated Tyler's birthday early so he could have a 'real' birthday, and he wouldn't care anyway. Well, we timed it so Jason could be there and Ed, but sadly missed the schedule of Ed having Seminary Graduation that night.
Everything was a little rushed in hopes that we could have cake before Ed left, but since we didn't start the cake until after church, that wasn't going to happen.
Tyler did love his birthday, his cake and his presents. An amazing quilt from Grandma/pa and costumes from mom and dad - which grandma helped make!
To our little warrior - what a joy he is in our lives! He is so funny and random - and though he can cause a lot of frustration, we still love to watch as he settles into his own personality and self. I am looking forward to this next year to see how much he grows. He desperately wants to keep up with Weston, and does fairly well. We may find that one day he is no longer following behind.
(Sorry John, next year we'll have to make your birthday a little more festive.. Two birthday's on the same day is hard!)
Wow, did you make that cake? I am super impressed with your cake-making skills!
