I want to be like Daddy!

Sunday we were finishing up lunch and trying to get the kids ready for church and finish the last minute preparations for our lessons (we both were teaching). John was trying to distract Elayna from something and asked if she wanted to go with him to pick out a tie... next thing I knew is Elayna had her own tie on! She loved it, and unlike hair bows and headbands that she thinks are solely for entertainment purposes she left the tie alone - the rest of the morning, the drive to church, during church, after church and all night long!

We got home around 4:30pm and though she is fazing out of naps, she still needs them. She had fallen asleep on the drive home and transferred quit nicely to bed. I guess her lack of naps caught up with her. She went straight down without dinner and slept until 6:30 this morning. I found her happy as could be, jumping up and down in her bed and squealing... still in her church dress and tie!

Our Enthusiastic and very energetic Elayna!!!

Posing for Daddy!

letting her emotions chipper up - after realizing she really wasn't going to get her way. (I think she was trying to take the camera away from Weston, had a short fit and got over it)

Look closely and you can still see her one tear! She has the biggest crocodile tears!!!! She always seems to put on the biggest show of having her 'feelings' hurt!
