The Seattle Aquarium

The Seattle Aquarium, was fun. I'm not a huge museum person so I don't like to dwell over each exhibit and spend an entire day there, so our few hours were nice! Everyone had fun, though I'm not sure about Grandpa through some of it! The boys were so funny. They Loved it - in fact Weston keeps asking to go back to the fish place with the sharks.

When we got there I think Weston was so overloaded by everything that was there - he was so funny. He kept running from one exhibit/room to the next. He would run in, stop, look around then want to run to the next one. Tyler on the other hand, had to look at every single fish, animal, or whatever it was. Mostly he had to touch everything! So it was really good we had 4 adults, because even with all four of us - we still had a hard time keeping track of two kids

I kept chasing Weston from room to room, and then inevitably while we waited for everyone to catch up, he would almost run in circles in the room - like a little fly trying to escape from a house! And boundaries - what boundaries. The no touch, no tapping, don't climb on rule really meant for everyone except for Weston and Tyler. It was nice when we made it to the kids touching pools. At least then they could touch without getting in trouble. But then, it was just keeping them from falling in! Weston finally warmed up while we were there with the kid section. They had some fun crafts you could work on, and having a little seperate focus time, helped him not (appear at least) be so overly stimulated, and he was able to enjoy looking more closely at the fish that were there!

It was fun and with a year pass we will be going back - as soon as we get a free weekend in here!
