It's Autumn
I love Autumn. It is by far my favorite season. I love the briskness to the air, the feeling of something happening, and the beautiful warm colors. I don't get much into cider, but hot chocolate is given, and sweaters with it! Sequim is not that cold but luckily we still have some color change and still that briskness to the air that can warrant sweaters and hot chocolate for those of us who care! The boys don't care and they continue to wear shorts in 50 degree weather, but Elayna still let's me dress her so sweaters it is!
John got home Friday night from a week long business trip so after soccer games Saturday we took the kids to the pumpkin patch/corn maze and had a really good time. Once I figure out my camera a little more I want to go back for some desent pictures but this is what I was able to get!!
This kids had a straw bale maze to run through, again and again and again! And big fields of pumpkins to pick the perfect pumpkin from! The kids were able to run around looking at various farm animals. There was a friendly witch doing a concert - singing and dancing to some fun songs and then a nice creek to through rocks in, and climb around. Elayna was rather somber through most of the outing, except for her frequent 'ohhhhh's' to everything. They all had a ton of fun, and I just enjoyed knowing that there was something fun that we could do - in Sequim!
Weston will get to go back for a school field trip - and get another pumpkin... we are gathering quite the collection! And hopefully before we loose the colors I'll make it back for some good picts!
That first picture in the wheelbarrow is so cute! I can't wait to see the other pictures you get! (By the way, I went to ILP last night and did a search for "free action" and downloaded a bunch. Haven't tried most of them yet, though).
You have all the fun!!! I love the double pumpkin picture!!! I would buy a card with that on it! You should do mom's card business....
These pictures are all so cute. Strong work! And the congrats on the sandwich accomplishment. That is hilarious. Can't wait to see you this Christmas.
