Weston cracks me up!
Weston loves to take out my Halloween princess stuff, which that alone is a little funny. It's probably just that he likes to play dress up and our supply is very limited. But to see him wear it around and love wearing it is so funny to watch. We have to be careful though because he is hitting the age of embarrassment and does not like to be laughed at. But sometimes it's just hard not too!
Weston decided he wanted to wear the play earings to the library and I said he could as long as he let me take a picture, so he did. These are just a few of the many 'glamour shots' we got!
This interest lasted about a week - one day he even got his friend to play along with him. A friend who is very conscious of girl and boy roles, but once he decided that the fairy wand was really a magic wand they were okay to play. But, yet again, they were both very happy to pose for a picture! This is great black mail material!
I actually heard the conversation... Isaac asked to wear the tiarra with the pink fuzz - Weston said he would trade and even trade wands, but he would not give the earings with it!
I figure the whole ensemble is a real treat. Sports shirt, torn jeans (from playing so hard), running shoes (to run extra fast in), and shiny dangly earings!!! How can you not love this child.
And Tyler follows right after brother in most everything, he truly wants to be 'just like his brother'. But seems to always have Robin Hood added to the mix, just so he can shoot his hanger arrows! He walks around in a funny voice saying 'Robin Hood - shoot arrows' Robin Hood shoot arrows.' Tonight halfway through changing him into pajamas he said ' Mom wait, need to shoot Daddy, be back'. He is really into Robin Hood!
