Another update

I thought I should update incase anyone was still following our abandoned blog!
We finally sold our house, and from the day of the offer to the day we moved out it was a grand total of 2 weeks and 2 days. I used the next 3 days to rest and then clean the house. The next day we signed, the day after that the buyers signed and the next day we finally closed. A grand total of 3 weeks and 1 day after the offer.

It was a little intense and though we feel like we payed to walk away from our house, we are so grateful to have been able to do that and not have to foreclose, which was starting to look more and more likely.

We then moved into a very large and expensive home that was mostly vacant and we will be staying here for a total of 2 months, living with only our close, mattresses on the floor and basic kitchen and a few toys. We've had an interesting time trying to figure out how to get mail - still working on that one. And we are mostly without internet or phone. I'm feeling a little secluded! Sometimes nice, sometimes not!

The kids are doing well. We have had so much going on, and though I wish I had done better journaling it this will have to do. Weston has already run over 40 miles in his quest to run 26.3 (a marathon distance) and will complete that with a mile run on June 5th. He has finished soccer and just turned 7 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY WESTON! :) Hotwheels, soccer ball and a bike - and he is in heaven!
Tyler still talks all the time and is as pathalogical as ever! I don't go very long in my day without hearing how cute he is (and the others) and wow - what a talker he is! Tyler is very excited about our move to Ohio and seems to be handling things well, other than a week there where everything set him off. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TYLER (MAY 23 - turning 5)

Elayna is so dang cute most of the time. The rest of the time she's a little pill! I am truly loving this little girl. Still loves to be a dog, is starting to talk a lot more and a lot more clearly. Is in love with anything Dora and is starting to get into the twirly dresses and looking girly! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ELAYNA (JULY 12 - turning 3)

John is currently in Boston on one of his last business trips, can't say I'll miss the 4-5 hour drive to the airport anymore. Oh - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JOHN MAY 23 - turning 31?? I can't remember how old I am - how am I supposed to remember his age? :)
I'm getting anxious to move and just get settled somewhere. Our official move date from Sequim is now July 9th. We then go up to Blaine to my parents house for a week, and then to Utah until August 16 or 17th and then take our 4 day drive (with anxious kids) to Columbus. Sometime the end of July John and I will fly to Columbus to look for a place to live, and for ABF to drop our stuff (Which will have been loaded onto their truck July 9th!) :)

we still have our emails - howell.jenn@gmail.com & john.r.howell@gmail.com

until I get some free time - this is it for a while! I am looking forward to taking my camera out again and actually learning how to use it, I hear Columbus has some fun areas to get some architecture shots.... :)

Till then - enjoy the summer!
