Weston Makes Jenn Exercise
We have a new system to work with Weston. When he gets dressed, does a chore or eats at the table - his whole meal, and other stuff, he gets a car and after six cars he fills up the little race track they go on.
Throwing a tantrum or screaming, hitting, etc. gets a car taken away!
When he fills up his race track he gets a movie (or another treat). We just started yesterday afternoon. So this morning - after about an hour of working on getting dressed; he wasn't sure he wanted pants and a shirt on at the same time! We finally got dressed and got the last car on the track and he got to choose a movie. He chose my 'Firm' exercise video and he wanted to do it.
This is all Weston - no encouragement at all from me. In fact he keeps trying to get "mommy try it" and giving me my 5 lb. weights while he uses my 2 lb. weights and has me lift and lower the step according to the video. Since I didn't exercise this morning - maybe this can count!
